As you may have known, instant noodles were invented by Momofuku Ando in Japan. The first instant noodles "Chicken Ramen" was released on 25 August 1958 by Nissin (日清) company. 

Following the big success of this new invention, Nissin created and released the first "Cup Noodles" in 1971. Since then, cup noodles become one of the most popular food in the world. It's easy and quick to make!

Other than Nissin, there are many other cup noodles maker in Japan. One of the famous cup noodles "Ippei-chan Yomise No Yakisoba" (一平ちゃん夜店焼きそば)is produced the Myojo Foods (明星食品). This Christmas, they have a very special Cup Noodles idea!

Interesting ingredients are provided just like the colored sugar, dried strawberry bits, and even vanilla flavored mayonnaise! I bet you have never tried cup noodles like this before!!

This special edition is only sold in Japan. If you are interested in trying it or getting it for your friends, don't forget checking out the supermarkets or convenience stores when you visit Japan!

World Cup Noodles Grand Prix

This year, it is the 45-year anniversary of Cup Noodles since it was invented. Nissin hold the "World Cup Noodles Grand Prix" earlier this year. Among the 20 selected Nissin cup noodles from 11 other countries including China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, India, Germany, USA, Mexico, and Brazil. Voters voted for the cup noodles that they thought it's the most delicious!

 "Spicy Seafood Flavored" Cup Noodles from Hong Kong!

Nissin released the champion "Spicy Seafood Flavored" Cup Noodles in Japan on November 21, 2016. Dried egg bits, squid, corn, green onions are some of the ingredients of this Hong Kong edition cup noodles. Wanna try it? I guess you can get it both in Hong Kong and Japan now!
