WHAT'S JPOP SUMMIT?
J-POP SUMMIT is a Japanese cultural festival that's held in the summer
of the wonderful and exciting San Francisco!
It introduces all the latest Japanese fads like
music, fashion, film, art, games, tech-innovations, anime, food!
Every year is a different theme.
For example,

WHERE IS THE JAPANKURU BOOTH?!
The set up is different this year!!
Rather than booths being on either side of you,

you will go through each individual one to get to the main stage.
Right when you walk through the doors to get you,
JAPANKURU will be the first booth you go through!

along with MANY great events and shows at our stage.

JAPANKURU's CONCEPT AT J-POP SUMMIT 2017
Our main concept this year is getting to experience some of the best of Japan
in the past, present, and future!
So much of Japan is about keeping old traditions while being inventive and futuristic.
JAPANKURU wants to set that atmosphere at our booth.
One way of doing that is the virtual reality (VR) trips
getting to learn about Japanese hospitality
and the beauty of Japanese Ryokan (traditional Inn's)
as well as shopping around the world famous area of Tokyo, Shibuya☆ミ
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO SEE
AT JAPANKURU TRAVEL PAVILION
Inside JAPANKURU's travel pavilion
there are individual booths where you can experience and get information on Japan!

the hospitality at a Japanese ryokan.
Like last year, we also prepared a kimono wearing area for everyone,
even kids, to enjoy!

Go-torch's iinyan, Nasu's Kuroro, and of course JAPANKURU's Kuruki🐕
