You may have heard this slogan before. Yes, it is the slogan in the commercials of the famous makeup brand KATE! Their eye shadows, eye liners etc. are very popular in Japan!
Speaking of KATE's commercials, do you still remember the spokesmodels of their products? For example, the previous spokesmodel, Mika Nakashima, who is stylish Japanese singer and actress, and their current spokesmodel, Meisa Kuroki, who is also a famous young model, actress and singer in Japan!
Moreover, if you have a good memory, you may recall that I have been invited by KATE and visited their headquarter in the past. In August 2016, they will release their new products, and I got this special chance to visit their headquarter again to experience their latest products.
What kinds of makeup style can we learn today? Let's get started!

Make-up that focuses on eyes
Due to the hot summer, I do look tired and my face is a bit sallow. However, with the beauty consultant's help, I will look differently in just a few minutes! First thing I need to do is about my eyes because the makeup for the eyes is almost the most important part of the whole make up!
Just like in the commercial, the new product for this season is focus on the eye make up, so you can find many different kinds of colors in their collection.

Speaking of the latest makeup trends, comparing with the strong and shiny style, a subtle and warm makeup style is getting more popular lately.
Besides the eye shadows, the lip gloss that will change color according to the lip's temperature, and blushes can be found in KATE's new products for this season!
Today, I had this special opportunity to visit the Kanebo Makeup Institute again which is operated by the Kanebo headquarter.
Ms. Osakabe is our makeup artist for today and she is the beauty and hair consultant of the Kanebo Makeup Institute. Ms. Osakabe is a professional makeup artist and her job is not only inside the institute, she also works for other projects like advertising, posters, magazines shooting, television, theater, and fashion shows etc.

The new eye shadow comes with 4 colors which can help you to create a clear and glossy style eye make up!
Natural metallic colors just like the natural light can be created. It fits all situations like going to work or having a date. Even for beginners in makeup, it is very easy to use!

Dark Night Glow
It comes in 5 different color sets.

Two different eye makeup styles
The amazing thing about this new product, Dark Night Glow, is that you can choose to use the "A part"(as shown in picture) or not to create your style.
So what is the "A part" for?
Actually it is a creamy Wet Shadow Base which helps create a moisturizing glossy look.
If you decided not to use the A part (just use B, C and D), it will look like the picture on the left. If you used all parts (A, B, C, and D) , then the style will be clearly shown just like the picture on the right. Let's take a further look of the Wet Shadow Base.
Step 1
A - Wet Shadow Base
It looks just natural and moisturizing right? The best thing about the Wet Shadow Base is that it can create a natural glossy look easily.
Step 2
B - Enhance the glossy look
Then use the small brush to apply B part to your eyelids just like the way shown in the picture.
Step 3
C - Apply layers of light coffee colors
After applying the B part to your eyelids, you can apply C part to the bottom part of your eyelids.
Then you can see the layer effect as shown.
Step 4
D - Use dark coffee color to create a profound look
The final step is to apply the darkest color in D part to the lowest part of your eyelid. Just as easy as that, you are done!!
Tip for creating a stunning glossy eye makeup
That is................after you finished the 4 steps above, just go back to step 1 and apply A part to your eyelids again!!

A makeup without applying mascara can make a big difference! Actually KATE's mascara contains two fibers which help your eyelashes stay firm and curly! It is also sweat, water and sebum resisted. You can simply just wash it away with cleansing milk or simply warm water.

1. Apply the lip color along your lip line to bring out the shape of the lip
2. Apply the lip color in the center of the lip to create a softer look
