Interesting facts about Yokohama
Yokohama is located in Kanagawa Prefecture, and it is a major and important port in Japan since the end of Edo period. Because of this, Yokohama is greatly influenced by the foreign cultures and that's why you can feel a different atmosphere here.
Actually access to Yokohama is very simple!
01. Close to Haneda Airport
It only takes 24 minutes from the Yokohama City Air Teminal (YCAT) to Haneda Airport by the Airport Shuttle Bus. (580 yen for adults and 290 yen for children)
(Bus stop #3 is located on the 1st floor of the YCAT Sky Building which is beside the Yokohama Station east exit)

02. Easy access to sightseeing spots
In Kanagawa Prefecture, there are a few sightseeing spots that you can't miss. First is the gorgeous night view of Yokohama; in just 3 minutes by train from Yokohama Station, you can get to the Minato-mirai Station where you can get a great night view of Yokohama. You can also walk there, and it only takes about 15 to 20 minutes.
Other recommend route
A. Yokohama Station -> Kamakura -> Enoshima
From Yokohama Station, just take the JR Yokosuka Line, in just 25 minutes (340 yen) you can see the Great Buddha, Hase Temple, and the famous scene in the comics Slam Dunk!
After visiting Kamakura, just hop on the Enoden train and you will arrive in Enoshima in 25 minutes (260 yen). At Enoshima, you can try the famous "Shirasu Senbei" (cracker)and see the night view at SEA CANDLE Tower. It is a really beautiful place to visit!
B. Yokohama Station -> Hakone Hot Springs
Hakone is one of the most famous spot for hot springs in the Kanto area. Actually getting to Hakone from Yokohama Station is not that far! It only takes about 1 hour and 17 minutes if you take the JR Tokaido Line and transfer at the Odawara Station, then take the Hakone Tozan Railway to Hakone Yumoto Station.
