Everyone can become a princess in the snow!!

If you are not afraid of coldness and want to take some new challenge, how about spending a night in an ice hotel where you can experience the ice hot spring too!!

Every year in Hokkaido, many visitors spend their winter vacation there to enjoy the snow and winter sports. Beside skiing and snowboarding, actually there are some other great places in Hokkaido where are special and amazing to visit.

For example, the famous wallpaper picture from Apple's MacBook which was taken in Biei Hokkaido!

Blue Pond (Aoi Ike)

Actually you can see different views of blue pond if you come to visit in different seasons. We recommend you to visit in winter because you can see the snow covered trees standing beautifully in the frozen pond. What can we say more? This is definitely one of the places that you should pay a visit in your life!

Ice Village at Hoshino Resorts TOMAMU

At the snow park and resort, of course you can enjoy winter sports like skiing and snowboarding. However, you can try something even more special here!

Just about 90 minutes by train from New Chitose Airport, you can reach this snow park and resort. Since 2008, this resort builds an ice village every year here because the lowest temperature can get to minus 20 Celsius degrees!

This year, they will make Ice Dome hotel from a big piece of ice cube!

Inside the diameter 8.5 meters long, 3.5 meters tall ice dome, visitors can find an ice bed, ice sofa and table etc ice furniture in the room. Of course sleeping bags that can keep you warm (up to minus 30 Celsius degrees) are provided.

This winter, the resort will build an outdoor ice hot springs which is called "Ice infinity"!! Are you dare to take off your clothes and get in this special ice hot spring?

In order to keep you warm, the resort will provide white wine, hot apple juice, soup and other hot drinks to those who stay at the ice hotel.

Last winter, the resort built a special ice chapel which is just like the ice castle that the princess lives!! It was so amazing!!
