Under Armour Brand House Shinsaibashi: Shinsaibashi's Go-To Spot for Sportswear Shopping

For many visitors, a good day out in Osaka includes a solid chunk of time spent shopping along Shinsaibashi, taking breaks only to snack on takoyaki around Dotonbori, and take some pictures with the Glico sign. The area is one of Osaka's biggest shopping destinations, with flagship stores and huge shopping complexes for major brands of all kinds. Athletes, however, tend to make a beeline for just one of these shops: the Under Armour Brand House Shinsaibashi.

Under Armour in Shinsaibashi

After our recent visit to the Under Armour Brand House Shinjuku in Tokyo, we were curious to see how the locations differed, so we headed over to Osaka to take a look at the only Brand House in western Japan. Walking into the store, we quickly understood why this place is popular with just about everyone from pro athletes to casual runners.



The Shinsaibashi Brand House is three stories of sportswear, recovery wear, practice gear, shoes, limited-edition goods, and anything else your Under Armour loving heart might desire.

Sportswear for Every Athlete

Basketball

Different sports get their own separate sections in the Under Armour Brand House Shinsaibashi, making it easy to head straight for what interests you. Although the intriguing displays might just catch your eye! None of the JAPANKURU team plays basketball, but we couldn't help but get drawn into this section to check out what was going on with six-time NBA All-Star and three-pointer pro Stephen Curry.



Curry can often be seeing Under Armour items of all kinds, but he's also got his own product lines. Fans might want to pick up a pair of basketball sneakers as a Osaka souvenir they can put right to use.

Baseball

If you've ever watched Japanese baseball, especially the national high school playoffs that are so very popular here, you've probably seen some of the athletes wearing some of Under Armour's stylishly functional warmup wear.



Pros are more likely to show up in their jerseys, though, and if you like the Yomiuri Giants you can pick up some of their gear here as well!

Golf

Stick to golf's strict dress code without giving up style!
