What comes to your mind if we ask you about Akihabara?

The street that sells electronics? Shops that sells Japanese animation figures? Maid cafe? Probably most of you will give me the same answers. However, do you know that in this area, you can still find a unique place where you can relax yourself by the Kanda River.

Surrounded by the vintage atmosphere at the hot spot mAAch ecute Kanda Manseibashi, you can enjoy the summer limited-time event "Beer Arch"! Time to get some beer!


Beer Garden in Summer!

In the hot summer, what can be better than chilling out with your friends and drinking beer together at the terrace.

This year, a special summer beer event is being held at mAAch ecute Kanda Manseibashi. You can taste more than 100 types of beer from around the world while having a nice Chinese and seafood dish in this summer event. Monthly limited edition beer is provided in July, August and September too.

# Shopping ♪ New drama to be generated at this old viaduct! "mAAch ecute" A beautiful landscape at Akihabara, Kanda River!


Actually the viaduct was once the "Transportation Museum". It was renovated and turned into this hot commercial spot, mAAch ecute, in Akihabara area.

As told by the staff, Irma products are the most popular items in the shop. Irma is actually the logo for a supermarket chain in Denmark. Since the logo of the little girl is very cute, the products like the tote bags and kitchen towels are very popular among girls.


Huge collections of interior decorations. The wooden hands are also the hot items here. Look how interesting they are! Just use your imagination to find out ways to use this decoration. How about using it to hold your necklace and rings?


How about a new curtain or cushion cover for our new home? What about this funny Frankenstein mask? Mask at 864 yen with tax.


How come the vintage furniture looks like brand new here? The reason is that they re-polish and repair all the vintage furniture in Nagano Prefecture first. What a good thing that you can get furniture in vintage style but in good quality.


The kitchen shelves look even better with the vintage kitchen wares! These kitchen wares are from North Europe too!


Variety of wooden desk and side tables can be found here too. Just check out the quality of the wood. You will be surprised by these vintage products!

First we go the special event space, Tatazumai, where you can find more than 100 types of hand craft beer from Japan and other countries! Which one is your favorite?


What is craft beer?

In most sayings, craft beer is a beer that is not brewed by any big corporations. It is made by a brewer that is smaller but it doesn't mean that the quality is not as good as the others. There are over 100 different types of beer can be found here! Pick one and let's get some snacks too!

Other than craft beer, you can also find snacks that go with your beer here! These snacks all came from other prefectures of Japan.  Actually they have four themes for the Beer Arch event. The first theme they have is the fish and local snacks from other prefectures. Different kinds of canned fish can be found too.

Have you ever tried the traditional Japanese drink, Ramune, which is a carbonated soft drink. It also comes in various flavors! Ice bars can also be found here!

At Hitachi field bluing laboratory, you can brew you own original beer! You can also try 10 different kinds of beer here too! This must be a good news to all the beer lovers, right!

Deep fried chicken, 600 yen with tax
Sandwich in Chinese Style, 600 yen with tax
Edamame (immature soybeans) in pepper style, 400 yen with tax
The best snacks that go with beer must be Karaage (deep fired chicken) and Edamame (young soybeans) in Japan! How about adding some Western and Chinese style food to our selection?
