#  Roppongi Hills Mori Tower

Back to 12 years ago,
a redevelopment project lasted for 17 years was finally completed in Roppongi on April 23, 2003.
That was Roppongi Hills!

A 54-story building is primarily used for office space. It also includes residential facility "Roppongi Hills Residence," "Hotel Grand Hyatt Tokyo," "TV Asahi" and multiplex cinema, shopping areas and restaurants.
It has now become a popular spots for local and foreign visitors.

In the middle of many of the the tall buildings,
you can see a "green land" of Mohri Garden and Nikka Pond from a long long history of 350 years.
Mohri Garden is reborn and the Nikka Pond is in preservation under the redevelopment project.
Yes!!! It is worthy of the respect and protection of heritage.

# Directly connected tot Tokyo Metro Roppongi Station

# Meeting point: in front of Mori building!

#Maman

At the entrance of Roppongi,
in front of the Plaza 66 shopping mall of Mori Building,

Its name is Manma.
It means mother in French.
It has 9-meter tall, an artwork of a French born American sculptor Louise Bourgeois created in 2002.

# It is quite a meaning public art!

Let's take a look at the bottom of the eight-legged spider.
You can see there are a lot of eggs on the belly.

Oh! That is the theme "Motherhood" that the creator wanted to express.
A symbol of where a lot of people around the world gather here and then, a lot of new information is born and being exchanged.
How cool and is that concept!

# What a big rose!

It is an art work of an German artist Isa GENZKEN in 1993.
It has almost the same height of a human being,
representing love and beauty of Roppongi Hills.
